which course to choose

i completed my diploma in mechatronics branch. (mechanical+electronics) with 72%. now i am confused which course in merchant navy i have to choose. either engine cadet or electro technical officer. will you please suggest which course i do. and i m from mumbai so in which academy i go. thanks in advance.
