COC validity expiring during anchorage

Hi, am sailing as a Second mate on bulk carrier and we are on outer anchorage in Brazil, My Coc is expiring in 15 days on 16th October 2013 and my sign off date is yet not finalized

i.Is company responsible for relieving me before document expires ?
ii.Is is compulsory to get the re-validation course done before expiry date ?
111. is it legally allowed to sail even after the expiry of document.
Please help me these query so i can take up an action well in advance.
