Mistake in CDC entry
Hi, I am at Merchant Navy Rank - Ordinary Seaman.
There is a mistake made on my CDC, the sign on port written on my CDC is wrong. I signed on from Kandla and its written Mundra by mistake.
Will there be any problem in future as I intend to go for exams in future ? If there is any problem please suggest me some solution.

0 Please ask your master to correct the error by striking it with only one line and also counter-signing the same. If you have signed off then contact your Maritime company and request them to correct the same.
Try getting the sea-time letter on-board/company with correct details.
During your exams, if there is a query about this correction then explain them that it was a human error.

i told them in the office about this problem they gave me sea service letter and told me that there will be no any problem in future..
so is it fine or shall i do something.

0 It is hard to tell now, only when you will go to MMD you will get a clear picture. Generally when in doubt, MMD people contact your company to confirm. Hope things go well then.
