PENDING us vISA

DEAR SIR

I GIVEN US VISA INTERVIEW IN MUMBAI 15/03/2012, THEY RETURNED MY PASSPORT WITH 221(G) LETTER AND TOLD ME TO SUBMIT SOME DOCUMENTS, I SUBMITTED ALL THE DOCUMENTS WITH 221(G) LETTER & PASSPORT, BUT AFTER WAITING 2 MONTH I WITHDRAWL MY PASSPORT AND JOINED THE VESSEL , I CAME BACK IN OCTOBER I CHECKED STATUS ONLINE & FOUND MY US VISA IS STILL PENDING. I MAILED THEM & TOLD THAT I AM READY TO SUBMIT MY PASSPORT BUT THEY TOLD IT IS PENDING ONCE INQUIRY WILL COMPLETE THEY WILL INFORM ME. BUT IT IS STILL PENDING & I AM GETTING SAME REPLY. NOW I AM NOT ABLE TO JOIN SHIP BECAUSE COMPANY HAS TOLD ME YOU MUST HAVE US VISA. CAN I APPLY FOR THE US VISA AGAIN IF IT IS A PENDING CASE ? PLEASE TELL WHAT CAN I DO BEST.

  I have done a deep study in US visa matters, US visas pending under section 221(G) Of US immigration and nationality act are liable to be pending for quite long period, as the consulate cannot predict how long this process will take as it varies based on the individual circumstances of each case.You can check your status report by entering your barcode number. As you said you have submitted the documents I guess you were given yellow handout,If you were issued a white, blue or green handout, please follow the instructions in that letter carefully in order for consulate to continue processing your visa application. US visa is a really hectic problem faced by many seafarers these days,be optimistic regarding your visa application.
