TNOC or ETO for Merchant Navy in India after B Tech in ECE

With all due respect to all senior members of Jahajee I was seeking information towards pursuing above mention courses in India. I have no idea what is procedure to follow. Before today I had no idea about Merchant navy and its governing body.
Please guys explain what competition exam i have to go through and dates of that. Thanking all of you in advance.

  For ETO- you need to have a B.E./B.Tech certificate in Electrical. after that you can persuade a 4 months ETO course from any Marine Institute whic requires no competitive exam.

  Thank you very much for ur reply. Just another quarry i had which is how to get sponsorship from shipping companies. Which companies provides them and does institutions have collaboration with them.
  Sorry for bugging you with more question.

  there are institutions that do have collaboration with companies but you must enquire them thoroughly as many promises they(private colleges) make are fake..and there maybe some companies which provide sponsorship which you have to contact them before hand and they might take a comparative exam. google for 'shipping companies offering sponsorship for ETO', it mighy be helpful to you. best of luck for future!
