Has the govt of India accepted this lifetime validity, and is it mentioned on any govt website?

Is Yellow Fever Vaccination or Booster Vaccination is compulsory as per DG Shipping directives ? As WHO (World Health Organization) in its media release has confirmed that Yellow fever vaccination is effective Life Long !
Yellow Fever Vaccination is not a DG Shipping requirement but a WHO requirement for International Travellers !
You are also right that WHO amended and extended the period of validity of Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate to the life of the person vaccinated, previously it was 10 years only. I will quote from WHO Website
Thus, from 11 July 2016 the certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is valid for the life of the person vaccinated. This lifetime validity applies automatically to all existing and new certificates, beginning 10 days after the date of vaccination. Accordingly, as of 11 July 2016, revaccination or a booster dose of yellow fever vaccine will not be required for international travellers as a condition of entry into a State Party, regardless of the date that their international certificate of vaccination was initially issued.I do not think any DG Shipping directive was ever issued for Yellow Fever Vaccination !
