near coastal voyages(ncv) for T.M.E's

Sir,
Is there any possiblity to complete the 6 months saling period as a t.m.e. On a ncv vessel and then appear in class iv meo exmonations.

  I am not very confident about Engineers sea-time presently, but just check the NCV Engine KW and confirm it is above the requirement for MEO Class 4. Would advise to go through DG Shipping circulars regarding this. Best of luck.

  Engine needs to be more than 750 KW and 1/3 saling period is counted. Better sail in these vessels for 3-4 months only and then get experience letter and then apply for FG (Now your resume has some weightage to it as compared to freshers).
