My name is manish, looking for job in shipping company in India.
Today I went to Master seas maritime academy. The guy over there asked me for a sum of 2.5 lakh for placement in msc and promised of the joining in just 15 days. Also he told me that his office is a sub branch of East Indian shipping agency mumbai. Can anybody tell me should I go with this ?

0 Hi Manish, Masters Seas Maritime Academy is not a RPSL approved company and hence it is telling you that they will place you with some arbitrary RPSL approved company ? Hope you know what is RPSL ?
It seems like Masters Seas is just a Merchant Navy Agents whom we NEVER RECOMMEND ! They are notorious for asking money without any fruitful result.
We always suggest to keep trying again and again each and every RPSL Company. To verify the authenticity of a shipping companies, please note that DG Shipping publishes a list of all RPSL Companies which can be found here for comparing. We also try to add all RPSL Companies in our website and keep the list updated regularly. Please check RPSL Companies in Mumbai, hope it helps you . Also remember that Indian Shipping companies do not require RPSL number and you can also include them in you list.
