Address correction in Indian CDC
Today I got my Indian CDC but my address on it is incorrect ! My college staff says that there is no problem as the address page is of no use.
Kindly help me as what should I do ? Will it create any problem in the future as my company is asking for the front and back page of the CDC. Issue date on my Indian CDC is 26/08/2015 and it is written that any problem should be detected within 30 days of issue of CDC.

0 Hi friend, practically your Maritime College is correct, there is no problem with address mistake !
Would advise you to also check similar issue at Indian CDC details error where I have shared Shipping Master Contact details too. However contacting them is rarely fruitful !
Some mariners have reported that they solved this issue by contacting personally the CDC office in Mumbai. CDC office is at top floor of MMD. It is reportedly to take 20 days for the correction. However if you have an urgent joining it is advisable to join the ship and after signing off go for the correction.

0 First of all Thank you sir for your help and yes sir it is urgent as I have to send my docs to the company before 21st. So will get my correction done after my first sailing and would surely update the list later. Thanks again sir
