0 I am quoting the required DG Shipping Circular data you requested.

I have also linked the relevant Maritime Courses in India required for Chemical DCE Management Level (Level 2) above.

6) Notwithstanding the provisions of rule 52 or rule 53, the approved basic training for Oil and Chemical tanker cargo operations as well as the certificate of proficiency in basic training for Oil and Chemical tanker cargo operations may be combined together in accordance with the provisions of section A-V-1-1 of the STCW Code and in accordance with the relevant International Maritime Organisation Model Course on basic training for Oil and Chemical tanker cargo operations.
Point 4 >> b applies to you and trust you will need "approved onboard training on Chemical tankers in a supernumerary capacity". Please note carefully the "or" & "and" in the conditions. Since you have OIL DCE I trust you have done LCHS course OR Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator Course Management level.
I wrote complete procedure for OIL DCE renewal for any MMD and uploaded the Dangerous Cargo Endorsement Form (zip) for reference.
Strangely the form does not give the above mentioned options. It however states that if you had a Chemical DCE then re-validation may be possible with refresher training (trust they mean LCHS Course).
I am sorry, I am unable to give you the correct data and would suggest to Contact DG Shipping or MMD directly for correct information and please do share your experience and information for helping other mariners like you. Best of luck. - X
0 Many Thanks for the detailed reply. I have the management level LCHS course done.So if I do the advanced CHEMCO for 10 days and have to get the required training from some company then can get the DCE Chemical.
