DG Shipping Profile update for Refresher AFF

I just completed my STCW 2010 Course including refresher courses. I need to update the same in DG Shipping seafarers profile.

While PSCRB Refresher Course is updated, there is no option to update AFF refresher Course ! Kindly advice as self needs to apply for goc and coc on urgent basis.

  Hi Friend, it seems like, DG Shipping profile does not have Refresher AFF in their list of Merchant Navy Courses in India yet. You can get it added by contacting DG Shipping or emailing the same to egovernance-dgs@nic.in. Nobody knows how long would they take to add it though !
   
  Please note that you do not need DG Shipping profile for GMDSS Renewal, which generally takes 3 to 4 weeks for renewal.
  You may also find GMDSS Endorsement and COC Revalidation procedure helpful for future reference.
  
  Temporarily you can edit your AFF Course details if it is possible (DG Shipping profile editing problem) and add date of Refresher AFF Course in its comment. If you cannot edit it then just ignore it, our past experience is that, MMD rarely checks your DG Shipping profile printout ! Simply include self attested copy of Ref AFF when you apply for GOC Endorsement or COC Revalidation. Best of luck
