How often lifeboat has to be lowered to water ? what happens if you cannot lower the boat in the last 3 months ?

The lifeboats are lowered once in 3 months for maneuvering. If its not possible to lower for any reason, a log entry is to be made to the same effect with detailed reason for same.
Lower as early as possible.
