Is Diploma in nautical science course going to be stopped ?
hi guys I heard that 1 year Diploma in nautical science course will be stopped by the govt. (DG Shipping) because of flooding of deck cadets in market. So can please verify this news is it correct or not ?

actually my background is from commerce field den i decide to join merchant navy and again i do 12th from NIOS borad. - X
0 @abhishek okay, for OFFICER ENTRY you should go ahead with DNS leading to Bsc Nautical Science i guess then, but you must also keep this fact in mind that before joining as an officer it will take you another 4 years in either the case you get a sponsership from good company, and as you told me that your age is 21 years already then,you should also attempt for such a company that has such candidates in their eligibility criteria since most companies have set the age limit to be 19 years for 12th passed candidates,if SCI is taking you then for the purpose you need to perform very well and should have a real good score in IMU-CET,that is still pending.
