1, Comminuted & disinfected sewage shall be discharged >3miles frm nearest land
2, other sewages shall be discharged >12miles from nearest land
3, if the sewage was stored in holding tank then it shall be discharged at modreate rate approved by flag state based on imo standard when ship is in enroute at speed >=4 knots
4,shall not create visible floating solids
5,shall not dis colour the surroundings of water.
