Have improved the Oral Exams Section.
# Categorized the Oral Exam section with Ranks and list of all Questions (All Surveyor) can be found under each.
# Now users can report for duplicate questions too ! Question list under any particular Surveyor now have link for reporting irrelevant or repeated Questions. Thanks to aks00791 and anupam for this feedback.
# The Examination Center too can be added by the mariners now. JAHJEE.com will monitor and might moderate the Centers/Surveyors added.
# "ADD YOUR QUESTIONS" page simplified. Now mariners do not need to select from previously added questions. While adding the questions the previous asked questions will suggest in the dropdown and users can directly select from the suggested list. Hope this simplifies the procedure to add the MMD/MCA Questions.

0 15 FEB 2013 - Few Bug fixes for Oral Exams Section
Found that the Oral exams section not working in Google Chrome and fixed the same. Thanks for the feedback.

Following updates done :
# Uniform layout throughout the website. The comments and Pictures are uniformed.
# Changed the Footer of the website with the Social Network Connections, JAHAJEE.com related stuff and the 5 Most viewed Forum Posts.
# Maritime Forum now recommends related posts as you may also like.
# Tagging of the Maritime Forum started. Presently the Forum posts are all tagged "Mixed" and I will soon start to tag them so that Forum Post of same nature are categorized properly and easier to find. Each category will be shown under the Maritime Forum Tab separately.
# The home page now shows the latest activities when logged in. This actually prevents checking every tab to see the updates.
# Better feeds for the Subscribers. For a very long time I neglected JAHAJEE.com feeds but lately with international users coming I realized that they were subscribing and later unsubscribing due to the error and incomplete feeds.
Presently feeds are categorized in 4 sections

# Users were asking more about me and JAHAJEE.com and so have changed the ABOUT US page a little.
I will try to shift my web-host soon, if possible, prior joining back. Hoping that I will be able to continue the services (read website will be live) during this transition.

It took us longer than we thought but redesigning and testing completed today. So here are more changes :
# 3 COLUMN INTERFACE WITH VERTICAL NAVIGATION TABS
New website Interface with vertical navigation Tabs. Horizontal Tab was restricting us in adding new features and tabs started to overlap with the new features we added, hence switched to vertical Tabs and 3 column interface.
# UNFOLLOW ANY TOPIC
You start to follow any topic in which you contribute. Now you can unfollow those topics to prevent us notifying you for the same. For bulk unfollow change your setting at :
YOUR PROFILE >> SETTINGS >> NOTIFICATION
# PICTURES AND PHOTOS
Users can upload and delete Pictures as part of comment for explaining things easily ! Now we are allowing sharing of Photos not only in the Foums but also under MMD Orals, Marine Polls and Maritime Convention.
# NEW FEATURES - MARITIME CONVENTION AND MARINE COUNTRY
Collected and showing the IMO Conventions ratified by various countries. To add more information comments and reply can be posted under each Maritime Convention. Marine Countries who have ratified various IMO Conventions are also added for reference. Additional Points for adding more information under each Maritime Convention.
# TEMPORARY DISCONTINUATION OF COMMENTS AFTER GRADING MARINE COURSE AND SHIP
While the grading of Marine Course and Marine Ships are still allowed we are temporarily discontinuing the comments after grading. We intend to unify all the features and might restart this feature soon.
# SHARE WITH FRIENDS SHIFTED TO BOTTOM OF THE PAGE
For faster loading of Pages we have shifted the "Share with Friends" to the bottom of each Page.
#DISCONTINUATION OF SOME SOCIAL NETWORKS :
It was getting very difficult for us to monitor all the Social network we were on and hence I am discontinuing and deleting following Groups / Blogs / Pages :

We have added a SHIP TRAFFIC MAP tab where marine traffic from AIS tracking is done. At www.jahajee.com/ship-traffic/ you can find the Ship traffic on Google Maps. You can search for any Marine Ship in AIS Range of a port. Thanks to marinetraffic.com for making it available to all.
Also have updated the point system and started the Ranking of all registered Users.
Now all the MMD Orals Questions too are displayed in a list. We expect this to help in searching and posting of comments as a reply to any MMD Oral Questions.
We have added the Google in the Login Option. Now users can directly register and also login using Google services. Have made registration even simpler with removal of a Mobile Phone Number. We do not call any user and so we do not need it.
Tell a Friend page now facilitates in sharing, recommending and telling your friends about JAHAJEE.com .
Simpler and focused Feedback for the particular Shipping Company or Marine College made so that updates can be sent directly.

Now JAHAJEE.com is giving the details of all Marine Shipping Company manning in India with DG Shipping approved RPSL Number. You can find that at www.jahajee.com/marine-company/ . We have collected and queried the Indian Marine Company for their manned Marine Ship types. Several Merchant Navy mariners sailing in these Marine Companies too have helped us in our data. My special thanks to those who replied and cooperated.
With all the collected details we are starting additional feature..... Now you can search about the Marine Ship and Shipping Companies manning for particular Marine Ship. Choose the way you want to know from different search categories. You can even rearrange the table depending on your need for better selective results. Try out the new feature under the SHIPS tab at www.jahajee.com/marine-ship/ You can even grade the Ships / Companies for the Score. From today we are also starting free services for the Marine Company. Would really appreciate if you guys keep the feedback rolling and suggestions for improvement....Thank you

Did few more changes as follows :
1) DOWNLOAD SECTION :
The Downloads Section Table can be re-arranged by clicking on the Column heading in three different ways viz "RANK" , "USER ID" and "DOWNLOAD" , this will assist the User in finding the Files as per Rank, or favourite User or most downloaded files respectively. We thank mayukhpb for this feedback.
The Upload and Download section has been separated and made two different Pages.
Each file has been given a different Page for Download, hence sharing of this page as links will be easier.
The files can be easily shared and Facebook Like button added to each file for grading the file in a social manner.
2) MORE SOCIAL ELEMENTS ADDED :
Facebook Like button added to each Merchant Navy Forum Post and each Uploaded Files. This not only promotes Social Grading but also facilitates sharing with friends easily.
Facebook Updates to wall added in most of your Contributions e.g. once you post any new MMD Oral Questions, Forum Post, start any Polls, Upload any File or Grade any Merchant Navy College you can simultaneously also update the same on your Facebook wall.
Facebook Login Button added to the site. Recently was having problem with auto e-mail of password due to frequent server Problem so have started with Facebook Login. This facilitates in easier registration and Login for new User. For existing User, they too can login using the Facebook Login if they have registered on both these sites with same e-mail Id else they will be registered with a new User Id.

Now you can Grade the Course for any Merchant Navy College and also get the Scores for reference. Hope with time, it will help you in judging which Merchant Navy college to join for any particular Merchant Navy Course.
