Has MMD started CDC renewal online or not ?
Is there anyone else in the forum, who has applied online.
I'm worried Since there is no information / reply from their end, and how long will my application be pending, as my CDC is expiring on 10th Aug ?
I have called up the e-governance cell many times. Finally a lady told me that they can't help / tell anything about the same. Asked me to contact the respective MMD, where the renewal application has been submitted.
I have been calling Kolkata MMD, but till today they haven't answered the call. I had submitted my application online, about a month ago.
I'm following up CDC Checker and e-governance site everyday, the status is still showing "under process". Have mailed to MMD as well, till today no reply ! Don't know what to do !

0 Yes we do not have to send the papers to the MMD anymore instead have to scan and upload the required documents on the portal.

Lot of candidates are facing similar issues attempting to apply for on line cdc....shows same message as"cdc Does not exist,cdc feedback already sent by you on june 2013...acknoledgement no xxx/xxx"
I am struck at this point..

0 I applied for online renewal of cdc on 20th jan, just 3-4 days after apllying my application got approved...(its showing in the status), but i hav'nt recvd the sticker yet....i called up e governance on 10th feb....they told me call shiiping master office....then i called up shipping master mumbai....one lady picked up the ph n told me to check the status on " cdc checker".....she said sticker dispatch takes time.....after talking to her i checked the status of my cdc on " cdc checker" n found out that they have renewed my cdc.....

yes, finally after my CDC and Indos database were linked, I was able to make an online application through e-governance seafarer's account.
Received a new CDC after 40 days. Payment was also made online while submitting the application.
Believe that it is compulsory to apply online now.
