XIMO NO.is required as per SOLAS CH.XI-1,Reg.3 issued by IMO,whereas the offficial no.is the Registration no.given by Flag state for the vsl's registry.
IMO no is given by IMO and OFF no is given by Flag state when the vessel is registered. Even if vessel is taken over by some other company and registration is changed, Off no will change but IMO no will remain same.
Q. 1139) What is dp ? why not dpa ? role of dp ?
