Hence the railways will be liable for any damage claims. If ad valorem freight is not applicable then the Railways will limit their liability at the rate of Rs 50/- per Kg as per Railways Act 1989.

XAssemblyis the highest Governing Body of the Organization. It consists of all Member States and it meets once every two years in regular sessions, but may also meet in an extraordinary session if necessary. The Assembly is responsible for approving the work programme, voting the budget and determining the financial arrangements of the Organization. The Assembly also elects the Council.
The Council is elected by the Assembly for two-year terms beginning after each regular session of the Assembly.
The Council is the Executive Organ of IMO and is responsible, under the Assembly, for supervising the work of the Organization. Between sessions of the Assembly the Council performs all the functions of the Assembly, except the function of making recommendations to Governments on maritime safety and pollution prevention which is reserved for the Assembly

Within 3 months of any change, the Flag state to issue a revised or updated CSR with the amendments incorporated.
The flag state may authorize the company or the Master to make amendments to reflect the changes in CSR. After the changes have been made the company to inform the Flag state as soon as possible.
Any previous entries not to be modified, deleted, erased or defaced.
The CSR to be left on board in case of the vessel being sold or change of Flag state.
In case of change of Flag state the losing flag state shall send the copy of the CSR for the duration which the ship was under its jurisdiction any other CSR previously issued by other states to the gaining flag state.
The gaining flag state shall append the current CSR issued by them with the previous old CSR issued by other states.
CSR to be kept on board & should be available for inspection.
