        pv v/vs are 4 pressure n vaccum bt contains no anti freeze mixture
        while pv brkr contains antifreeze mix.
        pv v/vs r 4 each tank while pv brkr is ony 1 connected to entire system which acts as safety device
        pv v/vs n brkr should b there while ur HVV is optional.

          pv valve is primary safety device, pv breaker is the secondary safety device which has to be set on a slightly higher pressure t.han the setting of pv valve

            Pv valves main use is for thermal variation also used for venting , normaly called primary means of venting , Pv BREAKER is safety device  , used as secondary means for venting incase primary means does not work...

                          1, open 1 or 2 hydrants on deck or anchor wash
                          2, open suction valve
                          3, shut discharge valve
                          4, check hadder tank fr primming
                          5, check the fuel tanks
                          6, rotate the hand wheel crank shaft for atleast 2 min
                          7, adjust the decompressor lever
                          8, as soon as you seen the pressure raising in pressure guage open the discharge valve

                                              Night Signal -  in addition to the anchor lights, 2 all round red lights in a vertical line...

                                              Fog Signal

                                              at intervals of not more than 1-minute ring the bell rapidly for five seconds. In a vessel 100 meters or more in length the bell shall be sounded in the forepart of the vessel and immediately after the ringing of the bell the gong shall be sounded rapidly for about 5 seconds in the after part of the vessel. in addition, give three separate and distinct strokes on the bell immediately before and after the rapid ringing of the bell. A vessel aground may in addition sound an appropriate whistle signal.
