Revised MMD Fees
Revised MMD Fees
While DG Shipping revised MMD fees in late August 2014, after some confusion, the revised fees was finally implemented in January 2015. Here is a list of MMD Examination fees as well as Personal Documents fees charged at all MMD.
I am linking concerned section for easier reference and would request you to share your experience of applying / renewal of COC or COP for helping other mariners like you.
Also remember by completing your profile you will get alerts before expiry of your Personal documents, as well as renewal procedures (if we have it !). Our STCW 2010 sea-time calculator will also guide you about STCW 2010 Courses required to be done and Seatime required for next Maritime Examination.
Increase of MMD Fees is not the only recent change, some other changes done in MMD include
- DG Shipping started online Payment of fees
- Do not submit original Medical Certificate for STCW Endorsement
- Self attested documents accepted at MMD
While DG Shipping clearly states that fees once paid are non refundable, their refund policy for online and other fees are not very clear. I have filed an RTI for Fees to DG Shipping, seeking some clarification. Interested parties can download RTI DG Shipping Fees (zip) [9.23 KB]
